WIP Wednesday

It's that time again! WIP Wednesday when I tell you how things are going for me and my writing.

I FINISHED!!! *cough* ahem *cough* Sorry. I mean, I finished my current WIP on what, Friday? I think it was Friday. So I let it sit all weekend and started making a few edits last night, and I only spent about an hour and a half on it. But edits have officially begun. I am a happy camper. :] <-- that's my happy camper face, not to be mistaken with my uber happy face --> :D (they're completely different, right?)

Anyway, a few stats that I thought were totally awesome:

Final Word Count = 35,653 aka a palindrome. Why yes, my MG first draft IS the same backwards as it is forwards. Not literally though, but that'd be kinda cool...

Page Count = 123 Really I just find that funny, because I managed to get it on, like, the very last line and not spill over onto 124. That's skill. Just kidding.

Total Time Till Completion = 3 months I'd like to point out that most of this was written in the last month since I got home for summer vaca. So I'm proud of that.

And now something you've all been waiting for, I hope. The working title: The Sandman's Apprentice.

Maybe next week for your teaser I'll give you a summary, but here's a hint: it's about Sandmen, but the main character's a girl. Hehehe. I feel so mean right now. :)

Mkay, that's all from me. How are your projects coming along?

Congrats! Writing "The End," be it literally or figuratively, is always exciting.

Doesn't it feel good? Ironically enough, I'm just starting something new. I haven't written a single word yet, just stewing the idea around in my head, it's that new.

Love the title!

Very nice! I like the title, and your uber happy face! :D Looking forward to hearing more about it! (PS. Whenever I write "The End", it's always just the FIRST ending. Like a breakup, you have to do it [aka. rewrite and edit it] a few times before it's actually done.)

Congrats! That's a great word count. My novella came in at about that, and it was perfect. I like your title! Very intriguing. :)

Girlmance,

I can't wait to read it :)

I got a whole 1,000 words in for my new WIP! I'm a bit jealous...and want to go discuss Buffy comics with you via Twitter.

Yours truly,
Girlmance #2
