Friday Fun
She likes to stretch, my Kidda.
She also has a tendency to fall asleep while stretching.
Sometimes, she likes to maintain the pose for pictures. She's an attention whore. :)
And just to show you that my cat isn't the only crazy animal in our household, I give you my brother's favorite dog: Behold the Jabberwocky!
While I was not the one giving her the bath, she held me responsible.
She swore revenge: the price? My braaaains!
But Zombie Jabbers was not satisfied.
Jabby goes by quite a few different names, in case you hadn't noticed, and she did get her revenge. She kept me awake until 3 AM the other morning barking and howling for no apparent reason. Now I don't know what kind of dog she is, but she's a weird one. Her lower jaw juts out a bit and she has one tooth that kind of sticks out of her mouth all the time. She's got coarse hair and long legs and big eyes... and I've decided she's a cross between a few different things.

So there you have it. I bet you never thought you'd see a Wookie/Ewok/whatever-Fizgig-actually-is crossbreed, but I have proof they exist. I do.
Anywho, I thought I'd share a little fun with you guys today since I don't seem to be around much anymore. I hope the animals in my family have spread a little laughter today. Have a good weekend!

Blog Fest Mashup
There are a couple blog fests going around today that I wanted to get in on, so I think I'll participate in both. The first in Katrina Lantz's New Year's Revision Blog Party. Katrina had the idea for everyone to share their revision plans, since revision can be a bit of a drag sometimes. So for 2011, here's what I've got planned:I want to have the 2nd draft of The Sandman's Apprentice finished before February. I'm already 20k into it and I'm hoping the final draft will be closer to 45k, which looks very doable.
I'll look back over draft two and fix all the things I know need to be fixed.
By the third week of February, I want to have my own revisions finished so I can send TSA off to others to read and crit. I really only have one or two people I can send it to, so I may be posting come February for CPs.
Hopefully, in March I can work on any- and everything I get feedback on and be completely finished before April.
So there you have it, that's my very loose schedule for revisions, and with any lucky I'll actually be finished a lot earlier than that. But I won't hold my breath. The story is the easiest thing for me to fix, so the technical aspects are what will be the most time consuming. Here's to a productive 2011!

New York: Tercer Dia
My internet hates me, really, it does. It keeps kicking me off and not letting me back on until it's passed my usual posting times, which tends to be anywhere from the morning to early afternoon for me. (It's 11AM now for those of you not in my time zone...)
So without any more delays, I give you the touristy side of New York. Oh, and Lake Eerie, too.This is going to be a very long, very picture-filled post, just fyi.
